Despite all of the challenges COVID-19 has presented, the MJ Quinn Training Academy continued to support our existing engineers and welcome new trainees throughout 2020. Our Training Team safely and successfully welcomed over 2,400 engineers, delivering over 7,300 accreditations and over £2.1 million worth of training, a company record, and show no signs of slowing down in 2021.

Throughout the year our Training Team have grown and there have been further exciting developments to our Training Academy Site, such as

• Large scale development with 5 new classrooms and a multi-functional workspace built.
• Development of new welfare facilities include a new large canteen/break area
• Installation of 11 new poles and increased number of UG structures and cabinets in our external training area
• Our internal training areas have been expanded to include fibre/copper exchange setup, wiring bays and fibre build areas
• Development of Civils Training
• All Trainers now hold a QA Level 3 Award in Education and Training
• Gained centre of approval for the delivery of SMART qualifications, with 12 approved SMART assessors operating at the Training Academy and in-field.
