A huge well done to all our colleagues who took part in the Everton 10K running event!
Liverpool, 11th October 2025 — The streets of Liverpool came alive with energy and community spirit as the Everton 10K returned, drawing runners from across the region to support Everton in the Community, a charity dedicated to transforming lives across Merseyside. Among the enthusiastic participants was a 27-strong team from MJ Quinn, who laced up their trainers and ran with purpose, pride, and passion.
The event, organised by RunThrough, featured a flat and fast closed-road course starting and finishing at Everton FC’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium. Runners passed iconic city landmarks including the Royal Liver Building and the Beatles Statue, making for a scenic and memorable race experience.
The MJ Quinn team, coordinated by Karl Randles, rallied together in the weeks leading up to the race demonstrating a strong commitment to both the cause and camaraderie.
The initiative was more than just a run—it was a celebration of wellbeing, workplace unity, and charitable giving.
The team’s journey began with an open invitation to staff across departments, encouraging runners of all abilities to join. A total of 31 employees initially expressed interest, with 27 ultimately completing the race. Participants came from various teams including Service Delivery, Communications, Core, Safe Digs, and Mersey Care Projects.
Training tips, motivational messages, and logistical coordination were shared fostering a sense of unity and excitement. The team also visited Everton’s community hub to collect their race shirts and learn more about the charity’s work, further deepening their connection to the cause.
