As a Civils Operational Support Coach you will work with our Operational teams to improve safety and quality in the network and drive customer centric behaviour. Your primary responsibility is the coaching and support of engineers.

Your role will include:

Essential Experience:

  • Experience of working in a similar role;
  • Knowledge of NRSWA;
  • Previous experience of working on systems such as SWNNS and Symology.
  • Previous experience of managing large teams;
  • Be IT literate as there is a requirement to operate multiple IT packages;
  • Strong, proven communication skills;
  • Full clean driving license;

Your role will include:

  • Undertaking investigation of accidents, incidents and near miss events, as well as customer complaints and product/supplier non-conformances. Identify findings and make recommendations to prevent re-occurrence, ensuring they are tracked for effective close out

  • Delivering internal awareness briefings (e.g. Inductions, safety manual, toolbox talks etc.)
  • Maintaining and review project safe systems of work and appertaining risk assessments
