MJ Quinn have been appointed Principal Contractor by Abbey Multi-Academy Trust

MJ Quinn Energy and Critical Infrastructure team have been appointed by Abbey Multi-Academy Trust as principal contractor in the undertaking full mechanical, electrical, building and solar PV systems across eight sites in a £5m decarbonisation scheme.

The scheme involves full installation of 3.2MW of air source heat pumps, full LED lighting upgrade throughout & 300kW solar PV systems.  All works are to be completed in a challenging summer holiday period, with our teams underway now.

As part of the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme, Abbey Multi-Academy Trust has been awarded government funding to reduce carbon emissions produced by its eight schools across England. It is estimated the technologies installed will reduce 9,156 tonnes of carbon emissions and save £84,855 annually.
