On Friday 8th March, IWDConnect24, hosted by Agent, brought together a diverse group of women and allies for a day of celebration and inspiration. The event, held at Manchester Hall, saw over 200 attendees gather to commemorate International Women’s Day and reflect on the journey towards gender equality.
Stef Brown, our Head of Recruitment and Communications shared her experience, saying, “I was fortunate to be invited to attend IWDConnect24 hosted by Agent on Friday 8th March. What a celebration of female empowerment and success it was. The room was a hive of supportive women and allies, with guest speakers who talked of their struggles to overcome societal pressures and biases to trailblaze a path for the next generation. I was proud to be at the table with such inspiring people and am already looking forward to next year’s event.”
The atmosphere of support was echoed by one of our Project Managers Katy Holland, who said “A truly impressive day. To be surrounded by so many wonderful, like-minded people was an honour. There was no judgment, just a room full of support, love, and passion. It was inspirational to hear the stories of such powerful women. Those stories will stay with me, and I know I will think of them often.”
